Online Learning College are the Ascentis-approved provider of Access to Higher Education Diplomas. Online Learning College are listed as the approved provider of Access to HE Diplomas by Ascentis. All units are completed through the Online Learning College and assessed by their staff. Internal Moderation and full provision of Access to HE Diplomas purchased through this site is complete by the Online Learning College.
Key terminology commonly used
QAA (Quality Assurance Agency) – overseas provision of Access to HE as a whole.
AVA (Access Validating Agency) – licensed by the QAA to develop, approve and monitor Access to HE Diplomas. Ascentis are an AVA.
Ascentis-approved provider – this is Online Learning College who have been approved as a provider of Access to HE Diplomas through Ascentis.
QAA-recognised – should refer to the Diploma itself and not OLC.
Access to HE Diploma – term should be used in full and not shortened to ‘Access course’.
